h22 sk2 im/stock/euro-r????
sk2 intake manifolds ive heard lots of things bout them good n bad. ive heard sk2 and euro-r r good but u can make same or more power on stock im with mods. then i heard sk2 u can loose power from stock h22 manifold. ive seen dyno results for all 3 with all different power gains. im going for a high comp build. right now l have sk2 68mm tb,vafc2,exedy stage1,10lb flywheel,sk2 cam gears<installed now. also have sk2 stage 2 tuner camshafts and jgevalve springs and retainers. for later install opinions?
Good question... I'm wondering/debating on which IM to go with myself. So far I've come to the conclusion to go with a larger TB and port match the IM. Also I did some port and polishing on my intake. Going with 4" K&N with 4" tubing and a rubber neck-down to my throttle body. Supposedly, the drastic taper into the TB is good. I really want a K series IM converted for H22. They look sick.

From threads I've studied on here, I think you only want a lot of plenum volume if your going forced induction. If your staying N/A, then more volume may equal higher HP at higher RPMs, but you will loose TQ. That was my take on what people were saying. Correct me if I'm wrong. I ported out my butterfly plate a bit and just made the holes larger then port matched them all. From the factory they didn't match up for sh*t.
yea l deleted my butterflies and dont have much torque off line. lm wanting something to gain torque low-end/mid and high range. l wont be building my motor as far as pistons and rods for awhile no longer then a yr but l want something to have good torque in the mean time and for afterwards
yea but seems like gonna be some mods to fit it. how about the k20-k24 im ive seen one bolted on a h22 with a adapter. anyone know of the difference u gain from it?
yea rosko has both euro-r and the K2H is what its called which is k20 im for h22. but ive never seen any numbers or info on the gains from the k2h. so which is better?
Im happy with my sk2, i ahve 98sh prelude I tuned it convereted it to obd1. Never had problems with it on my car, it was tough to install but got it done, anyways I still have my egr hanging to the mani.

^Yeah but he needs EGR and to stay OBD2 to pass emissions, seems like a modified stock or Euro R are really going to be the only 2 options as the EGR system on the K is different. Valve isn't mounted to the manifold and uses a piping system to send exhaust gasses back into the cylinder head.
From what it looks like though without actually measuring the K20 manifold looks very similar to the Euro R. Small plenum, short and straight runners with no IAB, just that the K20 mani curves in the opposite direction.

i think if u more to futher upgrade next time better Eidleblock intake..Skunk2 also ok n gain more torque..
currently i use SK2 i got Torque with Dyno Dynamics 175lbft & 221HP
