So the rex needs some welding done. No 210 in your home? No trailer? No suspension? No problem

Patent pending, of coarse. I would be interested to know how local trailer laws apply to such a rig. Thanks for sharing.

LOL! This is neat. All you need to do now is to hook up your crx taillights to your subie (if you still had them) and you should be good to go.

Doesn't even need that!

Cool rig though.
I think those wood supports are going to pop out when you go over a bump even with all the strap you have pulling it together.
Hopefully you don't have to drive far.

You get an adjustable A Frame tow bar and put engine mounts on the end of it
http://www.towbarparts.com/items/adj...r-5000-lbs.htm
...but you find them cheap unlike the one in the link.
eBay for cheap... $40 ~ $90

Harbor Freight for $80!

Actually I was kinda worried about that, but I used wood screws and ratchet straps and REALLY went tight on them... It was about a 15 minute drive on your typically pothole filled montana roads... but it was still solid as a rock on arrival.

As for the towing laws... I just had my dad drive while I followed close behind in my own car. I'm pretty sure that still doesn't make it legal, but we did pass a cop at one point and he didn't even look.

Its a pretty straight shot from where id need to tow the car but longer than a 15 minute drive haha I found that adjustable bar and towing lights for $50 brand new...

Think if you put the metal part from the bumper (the actual bumper support) then you could have just strapped to that?
This is a crazy easy tow for people that have no engine and don't feel like installing knuckles and wheels.

Yeah that probably would have worked... Also, the front cross-member would have been good too. (Assuming the front suspension is already disassembled.) It's just 4 large bolts to re-install it and I would imagine its just as strong or stronger than the front bumper support.
