DC5/EP3 Interchangeable parts list for EM2
Does anyone have a list of parts that are interchangeable from the DC5 and EP3 to the EM2?
I was just reading up on it a lot and kinda curious... Tax return is comin' in and I was thinking of dumping it into my '03.
On another note... It's pretty lame that the Honda Fit has more upgrades and mods out there than ES1's and EM2's... Just saying. it bugs the hell outta me. And all Mugen parts for 1st gen Fits are 25% off right now and all used Mugen parts for 1st gen Fits are 50% off.... yes... FIFTY. mudderfudders man.

This is from the Interior section of the FAQ's:
Q: What parts can be used from the 2002-2005 Civic Si hatchbacks? (SiR in Canada)
- A: The front seats are almost a direct swap (minor drilling may be needed to adapt one of the holes in the seat brackets), but the rear seats need some more advanced modifications. The cluster needs modifications on both the wiring and some trimming around the bezel, but can work if you're willing to put in the effort. The shift boot has been known to work, if you don't mind trimming some of the rubber.
Q: What parts can be used from the 2002-2006 RSX?
- A: The front seats require small modifications to the brackets to fit (stock EM2 brackets have been known to work, if you don't mind taking apart 4 seats to do the swap). The rear seats require small amounts of trimming to fit. The steering wheel is a direct swap. The dash and center console can be swapped in with minor alterations. The cluster swap is listed below.

Now, in regards to the Fit, you need to remember that the Civic had hardly any presence in Japan for the 7th generation. The coupe didn't exist over there, and since the car was becoming too large for their road system, it was a cast-off car design that marked the end of the Japanese Civics (non Type-R, of course). So, it was definitely not a money making chassis for Mugen or most aftermarket manufacturers, due to it's lack of appeal to the public. Thus, it received little to no aftermarket support.
Umm... Dash board? Not from an EP3, it isn't. The same story goes for the door panels.

This is true. I thought that I added a line up there pretty much saying that I understand why there are more upgrades, but I guess I forgot to put that in. I used to hate the fit... But now since there are so many options for them, its growing on me and im sort of thinking of getting one. 1st gen, of course.

Note: This is NOT a complete list!! And not everything is a direct bolt-on fitment! Make note of the size of your crash bolts for the front coilovers! If they are 14mm, you will need reduction washers in order to use coilovers with 16mm holes! Please do some research (or ask questions) before buying anything and trying to install it!
I kinda scribbled this together, so corrections and additions are more than welcome!

Does anyone know if the 07 si 4 door civic seats fit the es1 4door? Im asking becuase I found a really good deal on a set and I'm tired of how the rsx leathers in the rear are not on properly. If anyone can please shed some light I would greatly appreciate the info before the buy. I'm sure the fronts fit.

Another quick question. Do the sideskirts from a 07 civic si 4door fit the es1 and if so, is there anyone that has done it? Anything you have to modify?
I doubt they'd be a direct fit, 7g's have a 103.1 inch wheel base and 8g sedans have a 106.3 inch wheel base. Anything is possible if you have the skills for some custom fitting though.
true. I am just really new to the 01-05 civics, and i noticed they don't come with side skirts and realized that they are hard to come across. so im looking for possibility in other skirts. i know there's an "octane" side skirt, but i keep getting different pics through google, and they seem bulky when a clean look is all i want.
