I turn the dizzy left and right fully and check with my timing gun and nope the timing hasnt changed a bit!! this is a H23A1 and I also do jump the service connnector! any ideas appreciated! fwiw its at 11 BTDC and the manula says it should be at 15+/-2 I think

 

Jump the 2 pin connector, start the engine and aim timing light. Make sure timing light is set correctly..it should adjust

oh and your suppose to get the engine up to temp before adjusting..
