If it's from the hatch, then the tail pipe should be short.

Worst comes to worst. Install it then drive to a muffler shop and have them fix it.

D15B7 and D16Z6 stock manifold and downpipe are the same length. Coupe/sedan exhausts are the same length.

yep 3 inches,Sedan oem exhaust is longer and thats what you need, the coupe exhaust up to the axleback might be the same length as sedan but axleback is not(not talking just muffler but axleback and muffler oem. How do I know? I put my sedans one on my coupe and it was longer(stretched the bushings to the rear maxed out) the muffler might be the same length but overall the sedan axleback is longer than coupe. so try a sedan's axleback and you will see that its the right lenght and post back to convince non-believers

That's just not true, I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before. Coupe/sedan axleback/mufflers are identical. If you had issues one of them was a poor fitting aftermarket unit or modified. When you buy a muffler from honda it's comes as a complete axleback, the pipe is welded, they have identical part numbers (i've also used them interchangeably several times)

yo, meet up with me tomorrow and we'll see if the axle back i gave you, is a different length than the one laying in the garage that came off my car. im 99% sure it should work, with no modifications needed.
