Default electrical problems.

Hey guys I've searched but I didn't find it. I need the wiring diagram for the rear lights on a 1990 honda civic 4 door. My rear lights won't shut off and that is a problem I even pulled the fuse. So if anyone could help with that I'd appreciate it.

It's the black stopper on the end of your pedal. It's either broken or gone completely. This keeps the switch open for the brake lights in the normal position, once you press on the pedal it releases the switch to a closed position which in turn completes the circuit and turns your brake lights on. If the stopper is gone, there's nothing pushing on the switch and this will make your brake lights stay on continuously. You can replace it with another, put a bolt/nut in there, Macguyver it with some tape (I just gave away my age LOL), etc.

You guys have been helpful but between work and having teenage twins i've been busy. If the weather permits this weekend I'll be free and ready to dig in there.
I'm thinking you all are right about the switch though. I say this because the problem was
intermitten at first then bang continuous. Thanks again I'll update this weekend.
