A bird in the engine bay???
My car is starting to sound like it has a bird chirping in the engine bay, its been going on for some time now, and its getting annoying already so I'm thinking it might be a belt that needs replacement. What do you guys think or if not that, what else might it be? I'm thinking of replacing all the belts to have them all new instead of just one
Yeah but I can't exactly pinpoint it, but it sounds like its coming from the belt-part between the engine and the driver's fender/side

damn i clicked hoping to see a bird in someones engine bay...
but im guessing either a pulley or a belt. might as well replace all the belts (AC[if you haev it], PS, and ALT) if that doesnt work id go about replacing the bearing like grumble said.

i am going to bet its an altenator belt, theres a 12mm you can loosen (dont remove all the way) then tap the altenator down and tighten the belt, if its streched past its limit youll need to replace.
Is there a specific way to check if any, or all, of the belts need replacement? You know so I dont have to take them off and find out that none of them need to be replaced. And how can I check if the PS pulley bearing (like gramblemarc said) also needs replacement?
Got a mechanics stethoscope or something similar? You can use that to listen for metal on metal grinding noises. You'll be able to tell quickly, aside from the sound you can already hear, if the bearings are bad. If the belts have never been changed go ahead and change them any way. Stiff, cracking, dry rotted and obvious signs of wear on the belts would signal this.
Get a piece of hose and hold it up to your ear and move it around you engine to pinpoint noises. I once had a cracked timing belt cover by a bolt hole and it made a shrill high pitched noise. Squeaky plastic.
It's been 4 days. What input are you looking for? It's pretty simple to me. Replace belts since you said you were doing that anyway. If noise persists then it's a bearing. Check the tensioner pulley bearing or even the A/C compressor.
