My car is a 94 Civic EX

Ok havent been able to get car started for about 1 1/2 weeks now. I'll explain the first time it died and how i fixed it and how it died again and now cant get it started.

About 3 weeks ago. My car was overheating badly one night. The next day seemed ok. Took it out. Then over heated again. Died at a red light when it was idleing. Was able to get it started again. And made it to the gas station for water and cool down. After about an hr it was finally cool enough to get me home. Got home and then started to find what was causing it. It was a bad radiator. I got a new one along with a new radiator fan switch,thermostat,and rad cap. Took car out after put in new radiator. Drove it for about 30 mins. Ran fine did not over heat at all. Problem solved. Came home for a while then left to go to my bank. Turning into the bank parking lot car kinda surged while i was on the clutch. Left car running while i got money out of the atm. Got back in car and drove out of the lot. Car surged again. Worse than before. Got a redlight, car was idleing fine. Once light turned green I started to go. Got to the middle of the intersection and car died. Coasted into gas station. Tried to start car numerous times wouldnt start. Had car towed back to my house the next day. Checked for spark and wasnt getting one. The car turns freely just wont ignite. I have since replaced the spark plugs, got a new distributor cap and new rotor(both were in really bad shape) Car still wouldnt start. Then had ignition coil checked, tested ok. Then got a new ECM. Car still wont get a spark. Yesterday pulled out Main relay. And got a new one. Still nothing. Can anyone tell me anything else that I can check because Im about to give up and have it towed to Honda. I've tried everything I could think of and still cant get a spark. I've also checked for codes. Dont have any. No check engine light. And i've checked all fuses that might have somthing to do with car starting and all are good.

Are you setting any codes? If the coil is ok, I would replace the ignitor.

 

Not setting any codes. What is the ignitor. Im looking in the Helms and it doesnt say anything about an ignitor on the distributor assembly.

 

FYI, just because a coil tests good doesn't always mean it is good. Did you check your fuses?

Sorry meant to say ICM not ECM. Yes I went and bought a new one and still wouldnt get a spark.

 

Ohm out main rtelay, pull spark plud and hold end of plug against matal, see if theres spark, Get starting fluid and spray into intake manifold and see if it run for a couple of seconds, 1 of the 2 things I mentioned are gonna be your problem.

where is the main relay on a 2000 Si?

 

Behind the glove box, to the right. I haven't seen a bad mian relay on one of those yet.
