camshaft position sensor

i need to know if the camshaft position sensor for a 96 v6 ex-r 2.7L is in the same place as the 4 cylinders.thank you

Yes! The camshaft position (CYP) sensor is located inside the distributor and the CKP and TDC sensors are both mounted on the oil pump housing. Same as the 96+ I4.
