dont no why over heating
coolant switch. theres 2 one on back passenger side of motor where the radiator hose connects to theremostat housing its a green switch and another on front thermostat housing. l would check the back one 1st. u can do this by getting motor to normal temp and jumping the connections with a wire. if fan turns on then its that switch. just unplug and unscrew old one and replace with new one.
also u can keep that connection jumped with the wire for temporary but it could burn out ur cooling fan motors so l wouldnt advise it for a long period of time. maybe just a few days of short trips until u get the part.
