will these rims fit??
ok so i was looking around on craigslist to find some rims for summer and i really like the look that these have and i was wondering if they will fit and what needs to be done to make them fit? they are 16x8 xxr 002's but they have a zero offset........they look like this*** http://i.ytimg.com/vi/xSVbmG7LJe4/0.jpg
How low is your car? A zero offset on a low car usually takes spacers and alot of camber work to tuck them correctly so the tires dont stick out 3 inches from the fender. That being said it eats up tires three times as quickly too. Just for a reference stock wheels have a +45 offset and are only 6" wide. Your looking at a 0 offset and 8" wide which with a rough estimate makes for a 2.5" offset difference PLUS a larger dimeter wheel. I would really do research and look into this well efore trying to attack it.
Stretched tires by definition do not fit. You'll probably need to get your fenders rolled on top of everything else mentioned above. Check the Appearance forums for the many threads regarding this.
I hope this doesn't happen to you because you are choosing form over function.
