Seat Harness install? Brand?
Hey, I got a 91 crx, I'm putting a roll bar in and I'm also going to get some 5-point harnesses. I've read that the best way to mount the harness is on the roll bar by wrap-around, not bolted. I've been looking on like summitracing and they have some good basic G-force latch-link harness (might get camlock, but don't care), but they all say bolt in. Can I still wrap those onto the roll bar? I'm trying to find the safest way to mount them, so let me know how you did it? Also, what harnesses you used? Thanks in advance.
I'd get a cam lock, they're much easier and I personally don't think the old school mechanism is any safer, or easier to be sure its latched. I caught myself not fully locked a few times in my friends racecar.
Look on racerpartswholesale for more common race brands too. I liked my autopower one from ioportracing too.

Thanks guys. Does anybody have anything bad to say about G-force? I also forgot how old can harnesses be for at the track? I can't seem to find it on the NHRA rules, was it like 2 or 3 years old?
Yeah, but how many years does the NHRA require until you have to recertify them or get new ones? That is why I make sure they are actually new, and not old from sitting on the shelf.

Seriously, isn't a question like how many years does NHRA allow belts to expire posted on their website somewhere else? Just go look urself if its just facts about a particular organization you want.
I've been looking through the whole NHRA rule book and can't find it. Since alot of you guys probably race you might know off the top of your head. Well thanks anyway.
