Default 2001type sh swap into 93 si

I got a really good deal on a type sh full swap from a 2001. My question is, is there any way I can get it to work in my 93 si? I've searched and found nothing. From what Little i did find, I've read the block casting is different and the tranny will not bolt up and work on any other h22. Is there anybody that has done this swap and got it to work? Basically my h23 has a bad crank and I picked up this full swap for 100 bucks, I know I can swap all the internals and head from the h22 over to my h23 block and make that work. I was also wondering if I could use the full swap and get some sh axles, or is it more complicated than that? Any help or info on this swap would be greatly appreciated.

The money you'll be saving will just end up being wasted on a adapter to use a non SH trans, don't waste your money and just wait for something that isn't from an SH.

i have the halfshaft that will let you use the SH block with a base tranny. if you want it lemme know, it's collecting dust somewhere in my room.

Also, what exactly is the "sh" trim? Is it the all wheel steering? Or what is it?

SH means it has ATTS (active torque transfer system) which is contained in the transmission, and is basically like an intelligent differential for splitting torque between the front wheels. Check the FAQs or Google

Is there a company that makes the intermediate shaft for deleting the atts unit? Or are they all custom made? If anyone has any pics of theirs that would be vary helpful

Pirate used to make an adapter plate, but I don't think there has been much demand for them any more. You can make your own or maybe talk him into making some more:

From the FAQ:

the ATTS is not in the transmission. it is a separate unit. it mounts to the block where the halfshaft mounts on a standard block.
