is this good mpg?
so from when my yellow gas light had been on a bit and went under the empty bar , i filled it to maximum full and i drove for like a week or more everyday like all day ... now ik i did rail it around a bit but what can i do ... so now my yellow light came on again and i drove a bit on it and altogether i did "265" on a full! is that good ? im guessing its avg ....
Doesn't sound good to me, you should betting at least 350+ to the tank depending on driving habits or your recent tune up status.
Btw, hit up the search feature there have been plenty of threads on this topic.
simply type in poor gas mileage and you'll retrieve great amounts of information.

Also it would help if we had a year, make, model...
How many gallons you went through would be nice as well instead of "a full tank's" worth.

Also keep in mind you shouldn't just do this once and go "OMG MY MPG!" Keep a mental or written log of it over time, there was actually a user that uses Excel and has plotted out his MPG since his purchase date and had YEARS of data for averages.
yes ik ive done this a few times and it always comes out bad .... ima get it tuned cuz the engine sat for a while and its untuned also ima change gas filter , what else is there to do?
Add a new air filter to your list. And to get your averages fill up at the pump, go drive until it finishes and record the miles driven. Then fill up again and divide miles/gallons pumped. Do this for about three fill ups and you'll start to see your average if it goes up or down based on your tune ups and the way you drive.
