so i finally got my car back together and go for a test drive and a hellacious grinding noise comes out of nowhere. its a d15b2. 5 speed. lx transmission. its not constant. almost like two gears are bouncing together. any ideas?

 

bent flywheel inspection plate rubbing against the flywheel?

fixed. when i went to work yesterday my friends called and asked if they could put the engine and tranny together and up on the hoist so when i get off we drop it and go. apperantly they didnt tighten the bolts on the rear main seal on the block so the bolts backed out and wer hitting the flywheel. stupid friends. lol
