I currently need a back passenger spindle, upper/lower control arms and a tierod. I am now inquiring about a spindle from a 96 Teg b/c I failed inspection and need to make my car legal asap. I have heard that suspension parts on Hondas can be interchangeable and I would like input from all of you before I make the buy. Any input? SN: *if not*, any advice to where I can get the above parts is also welcome. *new enthusiast*

 

I would search junkyards for the right parts from your car. I use www.picknpull.com a lot because they have an online inventory system, or you can always check eBay.

Unfortunately for you the 3rd Gen preludes don't have interchangeable suspension parts with other hondas. You gotta find parts from an 88-91 prelude.

90-93 teg spindle will fit 88-89 si lude but not s lude 88-89 lude have 26 splines on the axle the the 90-91 lude has 28 splines

 

Lets be clear about what your asking. Do you need a Hub or an axle?

This gets mixed up all the time.

The hubs do not fit the 3rd gens, and while the axles might fit certain years of 3rd gens, there is still some modifying involved.
