how can I tell if i have LSD or not?
as the title states
I ask this because I recently snagged 3rd to get a lil chirp chirp...granted it could be tires, but i've never known b16s to have torque haha...and I've dealt w/cars before where they have more oomph and lsd and 3rd gear was always a nono in terms of gettin to the tires to break loose.
anyways, how do I know for sure?

jack up the front of the car and place the trans in gear. spin one wheel. if it spins easily and you can plainly see the other front wheel spinning in the opposite direction at the same speed it's an open diff. if there is strong resistance or it's otherwise locked or the other tire wants to spin in the same direction.. there is some sort of limited slip system in place.

kinda cool though

thanks for the responses though fellas....definitely appreciate it
and yeah I figured u all were joking about the "yes lsd" but in all honesty I didn't know for sure if a trans would actually have the letters lsd stamped on or not, that's how new to the Honda game I am : / haha
My LSD SiR-G trans didn't have the stamp. If they come from the factory with it, there's a chance that the engine importer washed it off when they cleaned the engine. The only way to be sure is to pull out the axles and look through the diff.
