trying to see if 13x9 would be doable with stock fenders. looking at the star8 13x9 with a 5" backspacing. ive been looking around for pics but havent dug up much. anyone rockin this setup?? for an eg btw.

 

cleared on my crx with a 23 inch tire. will try to dig up pics. what size tire do you plan on running?

ill be running mt 24.5x9x13 or mh 24.5x8.5x13

 

Go 9" wide on the slick there's no reason not to

 

13x9 5 inch back spacing with 24.5x9x13 mt

 

do you have any spacers on that?

anyone knows the specs of this setup?

 

On tims green eg i believe we did a 13x8 5"bs. Spoolinmatts car we dida 13x9 5"bs on his ek

 

are you guys seeing better 60's with 9" wheels compared to 8"? can you guys cut the wheel all the way with the 9s?

red car - 13x9 with MT 24.5 x 9 x 13 tires (this was the first test fitment of the slicks, we raised the car about 0.5" for better clearance after those pictures)



white car -- 13x9 with MT 24.5 x 8 x 13 tires



pewtercar - 13x9 with MT 24.5 x 9 x 13 Tires -- we cut the bumper for turning radius as sometimes we had 26s on the car too (with a different set of fenders)

 

so are you guys noticing better 60' with the 9" vs 8"?

we have run both the 8s and 9s over the years for numerous passes

we haven't necessarily noticed any better 60' and 330' times but we have noticed more consistency from pass to pass on the 60' and 330' times with the 9" wide tire

 

What backspacing u guys use on the red eg?

 

Tryed to attach my pics but it says they are too large...I dunno.. I tried, but you can cut and paste my links and they should work if you want to check those out. I run the V2 comp wheels.... 24.5x8.5x13 with spacers

 

Jpg I love the white eg. What did you do to the 13 to make them look like that. I did not think that welds made them like that.
