Cannot locate OBD2 port for smog (DLC)
So I took my car in to get a smog two days ago and the guys told me they couldn't find the port to plug into to read for smog
I messed with my carpet / glovebox there and couldn't find it myself, then when I go home I pulled out my carpet all the way to my seat and removed the glove box but STILL couldn't find anything.
Everything on HT and online that I've found about it says it should be in the passenger footwell, on the left side. Definitely not in my case.
I was wondering if anybody knew what it actually connected to? If it connects to the ECU, maybe I could unbolt my ECU then try and follow it from the beginning rather than search for a stray cable somewhere around down there, I don't know - and that's if it's even there. Is it possible the previous owner could have messed with it and/or removed it completely?
Thanks.

Uhh, I wouldn't be too sure. I haven't tested it myself. I would assume mid twenties with my driving habits (freeway back/fourth twice a week, then every other day city).

On the second picture, the black piece of plastic with the screw holding it down is the left side that's part of the center console right? I don't even think I have that metal bar that the port should be connected to...
I'm gonna go take some pics real quick that could possibly help...

Here's a pic from almost the same view. I can see the little plastic piece that's holding your port in that position, although mine obviously isn't holding anything down. Where does the port lead into? Maybe I could start backwards and see if the entire section is even on my car

It is possible some fools took it out. If I remember right my brothers 97 gsr was rewired to obd1. Smog was not an option for him ahaha.
But those pictures are from my car!

Ah. So how do I work around this - is the only way to rewire my car to OBD2? I hope I don't have to do too much work to fix this...
Well, guess one of the previous owners swapped in a OBD1 motor in it or something. I checked the ECU and it was P75-A01, and according to this link that's a '94-'95 Integra LS/GS/RS.

So what are my options now? How can I get this car smogged?

Is there a ecu conversion harness? If not then like I stated the converted everything behind the dash back to obd1. You'll have to convert it back to obd2. That's your only option of smogging an obd2 car.
I don't think there's a conversion harness. Everything down there looks pretty stock and unmolested, actually. How can I tell if it's just the dash harness that needs to be replaced back to OBD2, or if anything else needs to be replaced? And how much is there to replace (besides the ECU of course) to put the dash harness back to OBD2?
I picked up this car cuz my last hatch was completely molested before I got it, it was my first car, and it was a salvage title. I picked this up cuz it was pretty much stock, and it had all the options (cruise control, A/C, p/s, etc) so I thought it was never modified much. Obviously I was wrong

Okay then.. that doesn't seem like too much. Should the dash harness wire up to the engine harness without problems? What are some other things I need to check to make sure I won't need to change / modify anything else?
Thanks for all the help btw.. really appreciated

Yeap! The in dash harness and engine harness should mate up no problem even if they are different models.
You should not need to change anything in your engine bay. People with obd2 chassis run obd1 motors with obd1 engine harness that mates up to the obd2 in dash harness all the time.
Let's just hope whoever did it didn't do a hack job on anything else. But besides that it should be fairly simple. Goodluck with it and you're welcome. I help if I can.
