Icon2 I NEED HELP! I have ob2 engine and obd 1 car. what ecu should i use?

I have an OBD1 integra with an OBD2 Ls engine in it.
I have an OBD1 computer hooked up to it. Car starts up but turns off right away.

Am i having ECU problems? I was thinking of getting a jumper and connecting a OBD2 computer to it and see if it works better.

I have no Check engine light on though.

Can someone help or give me some ideas?

You should have no issue running the OBD2 engine with the stock OBD1 ECU.

Are you sure you have everything plugged in properly? If it turns off right away, I would look into your IACV and/or IACV wiring.

I took out the IAVC. do you recommend just cleaning it? i checked the connection and it seems just fine.

There are no CEL's on at all??? As long as you have the OBD1 harness on the motor and obd1 ECU in the car is should run fine... Make sure the plugs are snug and tight. Go over all your grounds and make sure the fuel pump is staying running or something. Double check the ECU ground on the thermostat housing. Had this happen to me while ago and turned out to be a loose ground on that thermo housing...
