Default Changing the timing belt requires fluid replacement?

To save money I am having someone change my timing belt. He is a friend of a friend. Anyway he said he would do it for 200 + the price of the belt. There is a language barrier as I do not understand spanish and my friend has to translate.

I am curious if there is something other than the timing belt I should purchase. I am not changing the water pump as I plan on buying my friends motor in 3-4 months and will have everything replaced. But do fluids need to be replaced on something as well like coolant?
