Would the RSX TYPE S Seats be able to be swapped into an em2? Im interested on making it happen if it can work.

Not only that, but there are details about the swap in the FAQ's.

The rear seats require substantial modification, but the front seats only require drilling two holes.

not too much modification for the rears. the bottom of the seat fits fine and bolts in. but the rears you have to cut off the bracket on the em2 body, and trim a few inches off of the sides and re-stitch the fabric back....
but the backs of the rear sit lower than OEM, and they dont lock into place, but never really fall down unless you stop really hard.

Your right, its not that hard for someone experienced, but if your a noob then it could be a challenge since it involves cutting.

Here's a link to a DIY on converting rear EP3 seats to fit in an EM2, it's basically the same process to do the RSX ones.

Icon2 rsx rear seats question?

ok now i have done tons of research on this and i know that i have to install them using the process of shaving the metal frame and so on and so forth with the ep3 rear seat install. but now my question is...

instead of shaving the metal pans, can i just take off the foam and the leather off the rsx seats and slide them onto the already fitting 01 civic metal frame?

this is a rsx type s rear leather seats into a 2001 honda civic rear.
