Default Dzus fastener for hood

i have a crx and im using the stock hinges but i dont have a front t-bar so im planning on securing the hood down with a few dzus fastener in the front. should i have any problems with air lifting? and can i see some pix of people that are running it that way. thanks!

Alot of Pro Mod cars and 10.5 Outlaw guys run it. I dont think you would have a problem.

Now adays, I would never Dzus fasten a hood again. I'd rather use the Aerocatch type locks. There's even push button locks that they make these days.

Here's how I did my CRX 8 yrs ago. It was a Fiberglass skin so it needed it all the way around. Pain in the butt though.

NRG did my car a while back. It's got a different front end on it now, but I still retained the Dsus setup.

The small quick latch looks great cus it's pretty sleeper n cheap but I hope hood don't fly open down the 1/4

Yeah these things are bad ***! We have 4 of them holding on our exospeed front bumper. They are probably the coolest thing on the whole car haha and they are very strong, you wont be dissapointed

i would worry about the body panel ripping away from the fastener before the fastener coming open,they hold very tight

Emailed quick latch and they said the Mini's can withstand 200 pounds of pulling force each before failure. I'm ordering a set asap!
