Why Mugen Valve Cover is. ..
supposivly it helps with the cooling of the engine. Its the same cover they use in their F3 racecars. Cant back it up, but it blings REAL good. I gotta have one to top of my motor next year

They know people will buy it for that price.........
they look BETTER everytime I see them.
they aren't really functional, but they do look nice, set you apart from everyone else, give you that formula3 taste under the hood, and i hear girlies go wild when they see them.

Just an expensive under hood dress up item.
"These aluminum engine head covers are manufactured individually using sand casts in the same way as those for Mugen Formula engines."

Why is it so dam expensive. I don't get it.
WTMF??!?!?!?
I could understand getting it for the JDM goodness if it was $200 or so, a bit more than a stock valve cover. But for $800 I mean damn, that's cams right there.
its all about tradition...
mugen didnt just start making stuff for our civics and integras..
and most motors they built had to have the mugen grey valve cover..
it has not changed since the 70's, so it may be a passing fad for a few enthusiasts..
but for me.....mugen will always be cool
but yes..they are a little pricey...but worth every penny
