Hi,

My name is dumbass and i think i just got raped by buying this 93 PRELUDE.

I just realized the cel doesn't come on when key is turned. All other lights on the dash come on/turn off except for the cel. This is not supposed to happen right?

How can I check if the cel light has been deactivated somehow?

Urgh .. just got this car last night.. so pissed.

Man, just get a new neo bulb and stick it in there. If that does not work, try downloading a Helms manual and do some more trouble shooting.

 

I get what you're saying, just that it would suck ***** if the cel threw a code.

I mean, y would of all bulbs only the cel bulb go. I'm supposed to get it smogged .

 

take it to an autoparts store and get them to pull your codes until you get the CEL working

 

You can even rewire in a new light for the cel light to work to. Pretty simple, just have to break out the helms and read through what wires to connect it to

 

and if something is really wrong that the CEL would normally show, i'd take the car back...especially if dude said nothing was wrong with it or "it runs like a dream" crap
