Just bought a ground kit. I wanna install it cause my car that awful winning noise in my stereo. I would like to know what are some good points to install the ground kit. Got 4 wires.

 

Whining noise? You will need to be way more specific as to where it is coming from and if you have aftermarket equipment or not. If you have aftermarket equipment are like the sub and amplifier properly grounded? A grounding kit is not going to do you much good in the engine bay if your components aren't taken care of.

 

I'm sure everything is well put. That's my specialty car audio. I got 3 amps for 3 8" emencie speakers. 2 batteries yellow optima top and 1,000 amp Interstate white with black top. With pre-amp, crossover and radio. I know about electronics. Before i ground anything i leave it to bare metal and the positive cable all have 4 GA cables. Ever since my friend burnt one of my amps while it was on it's been doing a whining noise en the background. I have installed a ground loop and it still makes these sound. Any suggestions. Plus i would like to install the ground kit to help maintain the ground in chassis better just asking if anyone has a better idea that i have to putting the ground in certain points.

 

are you runnning the RCA and power cable to the amp on the same side of the car back to the amp???

 

Honestly, you may be better off asking in the Audio/Video/Security section haha. I expected the usual $50 headunit with pre-built subbox and what not from Walmart.
