Default Need a Quiet Cat-Back exhaust

Hey everyone, I have an 00 civic ex coupe. I currently have a buddy club spec II cat-back on my car, which was on it when I bought it. Of course its loud as hell, and it doesnt help that the original owner gutted the Cat. I'm looking for a quiet exhaust with a nice deep tone. Not trying to be cheap but I want to spend no more then $400 shipped being I'm in school. Any suggestions

One man's quiet is another man's loud as hell. Stock is always quietest. Even so you have a gutted cat which would add to the noise factor anyway.Go to Youtube and search for clips of exhausts sounds.

I was checking that Apexi WS2 out and really like it alot, but I really can't find it within my price range. Do you know where I can find it at a good price?

^ Yonaka makes a copy of it that is really good quality and sounds very very close. They have vids of the yonakas on youtube check 'em out. It's alot more affordable than the apexi

Any chamber style muffler will do. However, I vote Apexi world sport 2.

Sounds a little deeper in my opinion compared to the Apexi

Just checked out the yonakas cat-back and it sounds awesome , and its priced good at $335 shipped. Im definitely leaning towards ordering this today. I also found a DC sports catback at $366 shipped. What do you guys think about Dc sports catbacks?

Not a big fan of the DC sports...as mentioned above I've heard them before and they're not really quiet at all.

This. Spend the extra money and get something made of quality. You get what you pay for when it comes to exhausts IMO.

Good looking regarding the cheaper pricing. I'm going to go with the Yonaka. On their website they show the Yonaka catback for the 92-00 civic which fits my coupe. Earlier I talked to someone from yonaka motorsports and they stated they make two different cat-back's for the Canadian and U.S model Civic's. I'm wondering if the yonanka cat-back on "Horse Power Freaks" website is Canadian or U.S, spec.

Buy an exhaust on the forums here? I'm pretty sure at least one person should be selling one.
