I have all of my existing power steering parts from my original motor, but what I am trying to confirm is this, the upper bracket that goes on to the head for the b-series motor, will that allow me to use all of my previous parts, or will I need to change other things?

The swap that I am looking at was installed in a car with no power steering so they do not have the upper bracket, so before I go buying things, I want to make sure I know what I need.

 

lower bracket needs to come from a '94 - '01 Integra or '99 - '00 Si/Del Sol VTEC. Upper bracket needs to match the head, B16A/ITR for B16A or ITR head, GS-R for GS-R LS for LS. Pump needs to come from a '98 - '01 Integra or '99 - '00 Civic Si.

 

So none of my previous parts that came in the car will work??... I think I Gotcha.. I need to start sourcing conversion parts...

So upper bracket has to match the head? but In a situation of a poorman type-r setup where the head and block are different... as long as they both are b series will everything align? And do I utilize a pump for the block I have or a pump for the head I have?

 

Bottom bracket can be from any '94 - '01 Integra, they're all the same, but the upper bracket must match the head or it wont bolt up to the head.

All '98 - '01 Integras and '99 - '00 Civic Si's used the same pump, this is the pump you need, older pumps will bolt up but don't work with the '96 - '00 Civic P/S lines

 

I found out the block has a SI pump on it... but you say i need 99-00 si lines, because my EX power steering lines wont work correct?

 

The EX lines work fine.

 

No, the lines are fine as long as you use the Si/'98 - '01 Integra pump
