Battery question
My car would not start today, so we thought it was the battery. We put the new battery and it started fine and everything, but today on 2 different occasions it stalled out twice like it would engage and then not go, my gas was really low but i doubt gas would make it act like that, any ideas?
Did you say -really low. That indeed can be the cause of a number of bad things. Yes-low fuel level can mean that the pickup cannot get anything from the tank to pump out. Also, you should never go below 1/4 tank as te fuel is a coolant for the pump.
Another thing here-have you ever changed the fuel filter? Might just be a good idea as there is crud on the bottom of the tank and it can get sucked into the system and cause poor running of the engine too. Before you go any further-try filling th3e tank and replacing the filter. Then see what happens.

You put in a new battery and your car started right up. Now something is wrong with your car?.. Do this.. Check the voltage at the battery. It should read something like 13.2volts or higher. If it reads lower than 12.6volts.. Your alternator isn't working correctly. And the only reason for not to work correctly is because the Voltage Regulator has a fault.. Hope that helps a little..
when my gas is very low my b16a wont let me rev past 3800 rpms sometimes, so it could be the low gas thing, but it sounds like an alternator problem to me.
