i want to get a skunk2 intake manifold but im scared it wont make a bifference on my car its a b16a will it increase lo end torque or will it be better with a tun can you help me out

 

i have one and i feel a difference..nothing crazy but i can accelerate better.. ive also heard if you want to take out the full power potential you need to bump up the fuel pressure.. i may be wrong..

 

more air...needs more fuel..

 

I used that manifold on my ls with an aem fuel rail and adjustable reg after a tune it had a somewhat noticeable amount of power on acceleration but before the it got tuned there really wasn't much difference.

most cars from the factory run rich and N/A motors can run more on the leaner side. id say leave it and just drop it a few psi make a wot pull shut the car down as u let off the gas. check ur plugs and see how its running and raise or lower the pressure as desired.. a set of cams would help make a difference as a combo.
