well guys im just trying to verify online beause ive been searching

i have a b20b and seems like the headgasket went. im looking to change headgasket but dont know if all are the same.

and dont know if i can use that. i will bechanging my timing kit and i know what i can use for that. also ive been searching for headbolts and cant find any either ohter than arrp head studs dont want to use that becasue this is my daily. (i know i can get from dealer i belive but looking for something cheap.)

also i have a p8r head and i was thinking of keeping that head for other build i will bedoing (b18b1) and using a pr4 head i have laying around thats in great condition and slapping that on my b20b.

any advice will be greatly appreciated

 

do not re-use head bolts and do not use anything but oem headgasket. should run you about $250 for both. headbolts stretch when they are tourqed the first time so you will get an uneven tourqe if you try to re-use them. i am an advocate for oem parts for reliability. especially when it come to engine internals.

 

oh yea of course, i live by that rule lol. the point is that i just want a cheap gasket that will get the job done and new headbolts. i just ordered that gasket. i do reviews on stuff cheap like this and i have used some on other peoples cars and other daily drivers i had and they ran like a charm. cars were never beat on, but then again they are everyday cars so that would be stupid.

i cant find head bolts anywhere and i dont want to use arp headstuds unless i find them for a stupid low price

my other question is if anyone has used a pr-4 head on a b20b block. any problems or glitches?
