Thanks to Dito from Gotbluemilk. He knows how to take some damn good rainy shots!! Had a lot of fun and met a bunch of cool people from corvette club and s2ki.
From 3-6 in the wet photos.

From 3-5 mostly dry

Enjoy!

Not sure about the silver car. I didn't park near him, so wasn't able to get any details. But his car was very cleanly done.

OG generation 1 Omnipower Coilovers. I actually have them sitting up pretty high because my driveway is kinda steep. Speaking of which, does anyone know what happened to Steve at Omnipower? I sent them a few e-mails regarding the rubber bushings in the rear at the LCA. Mine or sort of wearing out and cracked and am hoping to get some new ones to press in. Haven't heard back in about two weeks since I e-mailed.
Not sure what to do if I can't get new bushings from them. I guess I can try and figure out if another bushing will fit in there, but just to save some hassle I might think about going to 3011's.

Stock sized star specs. I didn't push too hard in the wet, but they felt pretty good. I did get some wheel spin with the wheel slightly turned at vtec crossover. I wasn't slipping and sliding everywhere but I did take it easy when it was really wet just to work on car control and my wet line. A few times the back did step out a bit, but it was controllable with the throttle.
The biggest thing about driving in the wet is not having the noise feedback from the tires. Generally I push the tires till they howl, but in the wet you don't have that advantage so you sort of have to drive just by how the car feels and reacts. It was really fun actually.
In the first session of the day a Porsche GT3 wrecked into the wall, so everyone mostly took it easy after that and decided to not push too hard.

Haha it's the 20 feet rule. It looks clean from 20 feet, but any closer and you'll start to see the little things.
Great pics! Props to you for going out in the rain. It can be a little scary but you can learn so much by driving in the wet.
