so im throwing around a couple of ideas on what i want to do with my c5 block and what i want to build i was thinking about the toda vtec killer cams has anybody on here used these cams before? because i dont see to many ppl with them i was just wandering if they are worth it or not

not worth it....for the same price web cams or ferrea roller rockers with custom cams...web can make you a custom cam...but for a stock c5 block some skunk2 pro1s is the best cam that will make good midrange and top end....

 

Good advice but it's not stock it's 85mm ls crank eagle rods and 12.0 cp pistons I'm also gunna run twm 52mm itbs

 

toda killer cams need serious compression to make them work properly. there not ideal for daily driven as you loose to much torque down low

header? exhaust?

 

yeah i am gunna run an ems cause i dont think an s300 would have enough tuning capability for everything that i want. on the header i wasnt sure i was thinking about the spark racing header to a 3 inch exhaust

 

Is it gonna be a street car?

 

not really i have another car for daily duties so it will be mostly track somethimes ill take it on the streets

As far as I know, Steeze has never had them.

I looked into going this route at one time, however the cost/benifit didn't add up for me.

 

What did he have then? S2 pro1s or buddy club?

 

I don't remember Steve having any aftermarket cams.....

His black car was rebuilt by my friends Red/Ken to o.e. specs....

and I am pretty sure his white one did not have cams either....it was built by somebody else local....and I don't remember cams in that build either....
