1998 Prelude Immobilizer issues?

1998 Prelude Immobilizer issues?
Okay so my friend lost his key to his 'lude and the dealership wants to charge him for reflashing the ecu to reprogram the key. Is there anyway for me to maybe unplug the immobilizer wire from the ecu pigtail and completely eliminate the immobilizer so his car can start?
