Default Rapid Misfire on accelerator. Where to start?

94 ls. Non-V. Rapid misfire on acceleration. Very occasional and sparattic. Sometimes it does it, sometimes not. Not too sure if this is relevant, but it bogs a little.

Info or help please. Share your experiences if you wish.
Ty in advance H-T.

Maybe plug wires? I already replaced spark plugs, cap, rotor, ecm, MR, fuel pump, none of the above fixed the issue.

What is the fuel pressure, have you changed the fuel filter? 94

Check your grounds and your coil. Have you tried using a friend's dizzy to make sure it's not that?

Maybe a valve adjustment?

I had a similar problem with my B16A, in my case it was plug wires.

I would begin by testing your spark plugs, then the wires. Check for any resistance in the wires or continuity. If that does not find the culprit begin to check the distributor, check to see the rotor is find then inspect the vacuum advance and the centrifugal weights and see if they are springing out.

After that passes, then start checking other electrical components like your ignition coil see if it is collapsing right or discharging right. Could also be the AC generator not feeding the primary ignition the required voltage to jump the voltage in the ignition coil. This can go on and on LOL

Best thing to do is check the source, which is your secondary ignition system first then go through all the trouble shooting through the primary and other electrical systems and components.
