Working on a buddies car. 1993 civic lx 1.5

He is having hunting idle and stalling problems, I know it has something to do with the iacv and/or the fitv. I attempted cleaning both, the fitv had some rust buildup on it. When trying to disassemble the fitv, the plastic piece inside would not spin out!

the problem is coolant is spraying/leaking out of the nipple attached to the throttle body once the system is pressurized (once the radiator cap is put on), and a new hose clamp was put on an tightened down tight.

Something must be plugged up?
