b20v. 99 si tranny

95 civic

p06 converted to p28 with with tuned based map

jumper harness obd2 dizzy to obd1 car .

first month after swap with that ecu everything run like a champ

and now car Sometimes bogs on high rpm and today car bogs right where vtec pops ..dont kno why .. changed the seal for the vtec solenoid ..couple days ago and did an oil change. need help dont kno what it is . might be the ecu dizzy or jumper harness not sure .. thanks

i have had the same problem and still do, i think its my tune. i have a h22a swap and what happens is as i accelerate i will hit vtec and at around 5000-5500 it leans out, or the opposite, and what happens is i feel a noticible decrease in acceleration and the rpms bounce a little, is this the problem you are talking about?

 

yeah similar to that .. but Sometime it dont even bog at vtec ...i can crack v in first gear shift to second and right b4 its boutta hit v its bogs downn .. ..

 

MAP sensor maybe?

 

i think its the ecu fudgin up .. and ealier todayi i popped v .. it hit hard but when it got to 7g its bogs down super bad .. and while the car still rollin tried it again .. its was 2steppin on the roll at 45 .. wtf ? and thats wher my launch controll is at..45 ..and Rpm jumps like no tomorrow lol

(((((some chips have 2 step programmed into it. and its set until 5mph. if your speed sensor doesnt work then it will stay in 2 step because of your speed sensor. put a stock computer on. if it still does it them it is your tps sensor i believe. might be your map sensor but just put a stock ecu in your car. if it runs fine then its the chip. if it still runs the same its either your map sensor or tps sensor)))))
