ok my question is with the front struts on a eg. do i have to seperate the upper ball joint to get it off or can i just unbolt the fork then take the fork off the strut to get it out? i want to know before i start so i can get the balljoint seperator.thanks

 

You shouldn't have to touch any ball joints to swap out struts. If you do you're doing it wrong.

 

just have a buddy step and put slight pressure on the disc then slip her out

 

iight cool. and for the backs what is it easier to unbolt the lca from the subframe or the trailing arm?

 

Why are you unbolting the LCAs?

 

again just unbolt the strut from the LCA and from the top but slight pressure on the brakes. she should pop out. plus the Lca bolt to the subframe is a B*tch most of the time
