Default Lucas oil additives

Does anyone have experience with Lucas oil products? I was thinking of adding 20% of the synthetic oil additive to a '08 Civic LX with 30,000 miles on the engine. Are there any advantages or disadvantages? The stuff is about $15 a quart. I think Honda generally discourages the use of additives in their cars.

After posting this, I noticed that there are already comments about these additives. Of course they run pro and con, but the one that struck me was the comment that the Lucas oil stabilizer is made of a cheap bulk petroleum base with some sort of "sticker' component. They claim that a solvent could separate the two and the 'sticker' was just gummy stuff that made the cheap oil base adhere longer.
It might be ok for older engines with alot of miles on them, but I don't think I'll use them in an engine that has only 30K.
