Yesterday i turned on my wipers trying to kill a spider. so they came on but then i swithed it off they stopped in the middle of the windshield. I turned them on again and i hear this loud noise like it something popped or broke. But anyways now when i turn the wipers on the wipers dont move, but u can just hear the wiper motor running. Does anyone know what this could be??

take off the cover (below windshield) and see whats going on.... take some pics if u still need help

 

maybe the wiper motor went out? but yea you'd have to take a look to see what the problem is

 

The arm that connects the wipers to the motor popped off. If you reconnect it it will pop off again. You have to replace the plastic bushing that holds the arm to the ball joint on the motor. The only place that has it is the dealer and you have to buy the whole arm. Depending on the dealer it should cost around $20 to $25.

They were the plastic bushings that popped off from the rod joints. I was able to find one but i got another one from a junkyard. My wipers have been working well for a month now. Thanks guys!

 

u killed spider , carma killed your wipers ? your going to get bit n by a spider when your in sleeping. (brown recluse).?

 

Must have been a big spider to take out your wipers.
