I'm looking for a fabric that resembles the JDM red for the side armrests and center armrest... Or maybe even a blue style... Anyone know where this could be purchased or has anyone done this and has pics to show?

 

Sparco sells there red in bulk. But I don't have a clue where you could get the Recaro red.

i just saw something on ebay for that, take a look there

 

i tried searching for it, couldn't find that

 

id wait to see if you could find the panels on ebay from a real one...the ABP R's interiors are blue (sides, carpet/mats, recaros) I believe the rest are either black/red.

 

I don't have the money to purcahse the whole panels.. Just wanted to do some cheap mod. Please educated me, what is ABP?

I wrapped mine in the Recaro fabric that is on my seats.....I am in Long Island NY, but I am sure the guy I got mine from will ship to you. I got it from AutoMat in Hicksville NY.

is it a tweed fealing type of fabric? and is hicksville ny a joke or are you serious?

suede doesn't look good if water touches it, rain/snow no good!

No Hicksville is in fact a town in Long Island.....Don't know how it got it's name, it is by no means "hicks ville" .

As for the fabric , the kind that I got is the same that is used on the SRD 2's not the suade ones like JDM recaro's. There is also another material used on the SRD's that is more like tweed.

The local wholesaler of Recaro by me is AutoMat and as we know, it is in Hicksville.They should have a website as well.

 

does any fabric store carry the red suede?

 

I have a friend that oredered his fabric through recaro. He re-did his rear seats, door panals, and arm rest.
