94 integra abs delete. parts list?
i have a 94 integra gsr. i want to delete my abs. do i need a rs master cylinder and booster? i read the write up over on team integra and it says i do not need to.i understand that i have to swap a fitting. i have a 40/40 prop valve and the front 4 lines from a rs. I have heard that i do and dont need the mc and booster. can anyone clear this up? thankss a bunch
If you adapt the lines, you can keep your master cylinder and booster. The ABS and non-ABS cylinders have one line in a different spot and it's a different size. The ABS cylinder is a larger diameter, and they don't seem to be in high of demand since they were cheaper than the RS cylinder when I was piecing my upgrade together.
Anyway, run the lines from the master cylinder to the 4040 prop valve and out to the brakes. Now would be the time to do a brake line tuck or upgrade to stainless flex lines if you are going to.
They make some steel brake line that you can bend by hand, that would probably be easier to work with than old hard lines and wouldn't have to worry about it rusting out, plus it would look nicer. Should be about $10 for a long piece. To get nice looking, even bends, use a soup can or piece of pipe. To prevent wasting brake line while bending custom pieces up, use welding wire or coat hanger to mock up the bends. Then you can try running it different ways quickly and easily also.

thanks man. is it really neccesary to make my own lines it seems like the rs line would fit with a little bending. also what kind of flair tool did you use?
