Default Taillights stay on?

I have a 93 Del sol and my taillights always stay on. the "park" lights...

Brake Light switch is Stuck its a little cylinder up above the brake pedel take it out and clean it then put it back in!

Or the light switch on the steering column is bad.

+1 for the combination light switch behind the steering wheel,

a good guess im thinking is to unplug it and see if the lights go off

The switch that is on the left of the steering wheel that you turn your lights on and off with!

Or like i said it could be your brake switch that is above your brake pedal

i guess it'll be on the right since my car is right hand drive lol. i'll check these things in the morning

its most likely the switch on the brake pedal. they break or get stuck. grab a flashlight and check it out. very easy to fix.

taillights/parking are just on.

hey guys dont mean to high jack tread but i to have a simillar problem..the only thing is that my brake lights dont come on....i checked all fuses and there good,, manual said check brake light switch...does anyone know if a brake light switch from a 92 acura integra work with the civics...

Dosnt hurt to try, but they are rather cheap from a parts store.
