I'm looking for these springs for my civic and have been having trouble finding them, not making it any easier is that I also don't know what they are called

Purpose= None really???...I truly wouldn't think this would make much of a handling difference to be honest...Totally open to suggestions if I'm wrong as I've never ridden or drove a suspension w/helper springs.

Google search:
A Helper spring is used to prevent the main spring from becoming loose in the spring seat when the wheel is at full droop and/or under load. The Helper spring, unlike the Tender spring, has very little spring rate, and therefore has no effect on the suspension characteristics of the vehicle.

When you catch air, your springs won't make that clunk sound in urban rally!

They are used for when your shock travel exceeds the spring lenght, I'm using pretty a stiff spring, when I lower my car onto the ground, I only get 1/2" of compression in the front and 3/8" in the back. Sitting at ride high, i have virtually no upward travel making my wheels come off the ground slightly.

I'm trying to fix this problem by fabbing spacers witch will raise the whole car up so that I can lower my spring pertch but doing this I'll need the helper springs to pick up the slack.

Should make the ride quality WAY better while keeping the trackability, should also as a bonus make the car more predictalble on the track
