Default the end all greddy 18G downpipe dilemma thread.

what can I do about getting rid of this restrictive junk now that Kteller isn't around anymore??

can I use this ATP adapter? and have a pipe made or does someone sell a pipe that will work with this?

There's so many different opinions and method's on this that i've found, I was kind of hoping we can get them all in one thread. Some people say to keep the greddy elbow and just get a bigger DP, but isn't the elbow just as restrictive?

Umm no the gt style 5 bolt discharge flange are the same. I know I have owned both turbos with that exact flange used for both.

ATP V Band WORKS! I know because I have it, and I'm currently using it. Will Post Pictures, when I have a chance.

I know I have one bolt missing, But this is how the set up looks. The hardest part of putting it together is having the 3' SS Vband flange welded on to an aluminized metal 90degree, everything else was cake. Also don't forget you do have intercooler piping in the way along with that oil line on the oil pan so if your planning to run an exhaust you can try rerouting everything. I didn't care too much for one so I went up from my 90degree and out the hood.

Or you just get a 5 bolt T25 flange and make another downpipe from scratch. Just run a seperate pipe for the wastegate and have it open wastegate dump if you want. Not really a big deal.

So I finally found this thread.

Is there anyone who makes one already that works instead of custom fabrication?

I have a 93 Hatch with an LS swap + GSR Greddy Turbo Kit. I just want to free up that restriction in the stock kit while able to maintain my AC.

Please help.

thanks,
Kevin

I fixed this problem just fine for myself...get the ATP turbo 3" V Band 5 bolt flange, and have a custom downpipe made...that's the only way. spools so quick that i eat v8's from a dig.
