noobish question about wheel fitment

ive heard mixed opinions on 8in. wide wheels. im slightly lowered but not much. will they fit without any other mods?

depends on the offset. 17x8 +40-50 should fit pretty good while only requiring a bit of adjustment depending on tire size, and alignment specs
