Last week i went to go look at a 4th gen lude vtec. but the ***** wouldnt come down 500 bucks. So i left it alone. Drving around last night find another 4th gen lude auto si, dont want. Coming in to work this morin c another 4th gen lude (all were red???) auto si as well. Whats going on??? I want a 4th gen vtec??? if anyone has one for sale, y are peeps selling there 4th gens?. ( sorry bored at work) Also real quick on the 4th gen i thought it was just my car but i noticed on all three the faded roof, right above the door that strip there on both sides??? anyone else with this problem???? thx sorry so long.

 

the milano red fades very easy if it is not taken care of, trust me the girl that owned my car before me maybe waxed it twice now i have pink mirrors and such

 

Yeah. I have white/red spots on my roof. My mirrors and bumpres were all pink until I got them repainted. My spoiler is still pink.

When I sold my 1993 VTEC about 2 years ago, I was so overwhelmed with interest in the few ads I had posted that I was easily able to sell it for my asking price within 2 weeks. The seller probably had little reason to bargain with you unless he was desperate for a quick sell. The 4th gen VTECs seem to still be in very high demand, and it is very much a seller's market.

same here.. my red lude is now a pink lude. got the front and rear bumper pink. hood and top pink. both side mirrors pink. i wish a had a garage... sun sucks

 

ya....... my milano red has a light red almost pinkish driver side mirror, got the other replaced...my roof is slightly fadded by luckly this was my brothers old car... its still a sexy milano red..if you turly love your lude you wax the girl 4 times a year..atlest

 

I am also looking for another 4th gen VTEC. One thing I have noticed is that 99% of them for sale are red. My #1 choice would be azure blue-green with black leather. My last one was blue-green with tan. I almost wouldnt mind black on black.

 

The guy that bought my car this april would sell it, he's told me he's interested b/c he's going to get a new/diff car soon. I think the car is a little low for him too- it's on prokits and koni yellows. It's very nice and in good shape.

4th gen vtec's are VERY rare and VERY sought after.. thats why the seller knows that he doesnt have to bargain because he'll find a buyer no matter what...

I have been told that the pink problem (fading on mirror etc) is due to WAXING them! Paint on anything but the metal does not like wax (except plain old floor wax maybe) as most waxes/polishes now have chemical added that affect the plastic on mirrors and bumpers etc - don't know if it's true or not.

How much are you looking to spend? I have a 93 VTEC with I/H/E, ACT clutch, Tein SS coilovers, Energy suspension bushings, clear corners, Random Tech cat, new paint, and an Accord Euro R dropout just prefessionally installed (Honda dealer). I will swap back to the stock motor if the price isnt right. 160K on the car, but almost everything has been replaced within the last 6 months. Have all receipts. Only raced once, ran a 14.8 @ 94.6MPH on the stock motor with a catback and slightly slipping clutch. I am not trying to sell it but of course if the price is right, anything is possible
