Default Right way to install traction bars?

Hey I have a set of full Race bars, and I've noticed my passenger side radius arm length is a bit shorter then the driver side. Only one of the radius arms will even get short enough to fit leaving very little turning left to preload.

I've also had to clock the mounting brackets on the control arm slightly inward otherwise the bolts included will run into the shock forks. Is this normal? The best I could do was put the brackets on when the car is on the ground and then lift it to attach everything else.

Am I missing something here?

In my opinion the best way to do this is to install them and get an alignment done. Since intalling them changes the caster measurement along with the toe and sometimes even camber. GL hope this helped

Well I mean its not so much the alignment. Just getting them to fit "correctly" in the first place

Yeah the car was in a front end wreck a few years ago. I assumed this was probably the main issue . Doesn't explain how to mount those brackets though.

For a street car its desirable to have the preload "pulling" the suspension forward?

For street i would put the car down on the wheels and turn the bars till there neutral then pull the control arms just a turn or so foward. If you look at the control arm horizontaly then the tabs should be horizontal also.
