D15B 4 speed transmission????? Help
I have a 1991 hatch ef. I bought this CRX shifter and replace the shifter. I have the spoon sports one. fake. but any way, I installed it today and when i got inside i felt its really short shift. So i passed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. and then there is no 5th.
I need help if the transmission is a 4 speed manual. I havee the " D15B ".. I was working with my brother. the car was previously owned by my uncle. If its a 4 speed manual. He prolly said it right away. Im not sure maybe i put the rod wrong or something. its like it wants to bite the 5th gear. need help. thanks in advance to y'all..

thanks.. i got the 5 trans already.. so ima just unbolt the screws for the trans.. good thing is that i didnt install the passenger's axle..
keep it. 4 speed are tight. specially if its for a dd. make sure its your 4 speed trans is not from an 88 because your 5 speed trans splines wont line up with the clutch if it is.
Holy sh*t.. Sorry. I tooj out my trans by myself and it is hard w/out the lift.. I testedthe mount. But they dont fit w/ my brand new 5 speed manual.. They dont fit right especially the mount. In the front mount the 5 speed that i bought it came of the 96 civic that doesnt have the hole to put the mount on.. Wat should i do.. Do i need a brand new mount for it.. And on the left side.. The bolt that sticks up from the new trans is too far awaynfrom each other that the old mount wont fit.. Wat should i do?????
