help wheel not centered
hey guys! i thought id ask you honda gods here what im wondering.
alright guys... i have a 99 ex coupe and for some odd reason my front driver side wheel is not centered. Meaning... The wheel is mounted on right but the tire is super close towards the door. Like if you looking at the rim, its pushed back more to the door than it being in the center. ive checked the passenger side and i got a 3 finger space between the front bumper to the tire and 3 finger space from the door to the tire. but on my driver side its way off. its like a 2 finger space to the door and 4 finger space from the bumper to the tire. i jsut want to know what this could be the cause of. keep in mind the car has never been in an accident.
please help me guys.

bushings top n bottom check them....and have someone drivew the car forward with moderate acceleration then stop quick to see if the wheel has any front to back play in the wheel well
are you the original owner? if not just because its not on a carfax doesnt mean it hasnt been in an accident, could have been just not reported to the insurance company or the dmv. jack up the car and check for bends in the suspension.
I have the same exact problem. the guy i bought it from said "never been in an accident" Well it's my first car so i didn't know what to look for, now I'm certain it has been in more than a few accidents in it's life time. My driver side is pushed more towards the door than the passenger's side. After trying to align my wheels at Les Schwab and taking closer look. My whole sub frame was bent, lower control arms, etc. I replaced the control arm an it fixed the caster by only 1 degrees and it's a -4 degrees !! So i gave up on fixing it because when u polish a piece of ****, all u get is a shiny piece of ****!
